"Wellness Through Dietary Therapy" — Secondary Students x Cross-Sector Collaboration (Food & Beverage Industry)
Promotion Initiative: Background and Objectives

Activity 1: Workshop

Date: September 2025 to March 2026
Frequency and Duration: One session per school, two hours per session.
Location: Room N1259, Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (Chai Wan)

Activity 2: "Traditional Medicinal Cuisine x Future Foods" Secondary School Student Innovative Medicinal Recipe Design Competition

Preliminary Round: September 2025 – March 2026 | Registration Deadline: March 2026
Submission Deadline: March 2026 | Preliminary Judging: March – April 2026
Final: June 2026 | Final Venue: TBD

Activity 3:

Date: April 2027 (Tentative)
Location: Lecture Hall or Public Exhibition Venue (TBD)

The program will conclude with a results-sharing session, during which participating teams from the recipe design competition will be invited to share their insights. An awards ceremony will also be held to commend the winning teams and all participating schools. Additionally, industry representatives will share their perspectives on integrating "wellness-focused dietary therapy" into the market, and a mini-exhibition will be set up on-site to foster exchange and collaboration among various sectors.

Remarks

This event aims to enhance the school's reputation, broaden students' horizons, and foster collaborative opportunities within the culinary industry. By integrating traditional practices with modern food technology to create unique medicinal dishes, the initiative seeks to promote Traditional Chinese Medicine culture to the general public.
